Protecting the doctor

Mik studies a rare orchid and goes down to Mexico to see it in nature with her three students. When she's attacked, Austin rescues her. They just met and he's struggling with his own demons but he puts his life on the line to save her. They have a great connection and a lot of heat while trying to stay safe.

Patricia D. Eddy’s book Rogue Protector is a magnificent story of bravery, PTSD, early/new & unexpected love. Austin is recently retired from his impressive position with JSOC, he’s a broken man looking to find himself. He meets Dr Mikayla Salim in a bar where they make an interesting connection. She is working with a rare Orchid. She is collecting samples to continue her research to learn if that particular plant can assist with Parkinson’s disease. Her life is in danger due to deceitful actions of done people she trusts.Austin does all he can to protect her & return her safely to the USA. Loved this book. Wish I had more stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a great story

Such a great story. Loved seeing Austin get his HEA, and his and Mikayla's story was full of action and suspense. And seeing characters from the Away from the Keyboard series is an definite plus. And great narration...Sebastian York...sigh...loving listening to him.
