Wickedly Wonderful

In preparation for Gabriel’s Gambit by Patricia Eddy, I went back to the first book in the series of her books involving Sinclair (Storm of Sin) and was not disappointed. I love the energy between Maddox and Killian, and Shayne East and Greg Boudreaux really brought them and their story to life.

What I love about it:

Stellar narration by Shane East and Greg Boudreaux

Witches and angels in New Orleans during Samhain, yes please!

Fast paced, quick read/listen

Fate and love and all the good stuff

Fantastic chemistry between the characters

Nice elements of mystery and suspense with solid paranormal elements

Interconnected standalone that introduces one of my favorite Patricia D Eddy characters (Sinclair)

Love this!

Absolutely loved this tale of Killian and Maddox. Killian who is afraid to unleash his magic after an accident years ago. Maddox 1/2 angel who runs to his rescue. These two are GOLD. So good together and funny too.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.

Killian Wade is a rare, male witch. He’s very powerful, but he can’t control his powers, this is why he caused the death of his mentor ten years ago. After that he decided that it’s better to live in solitary, away from everyone at his Brighton estate.

But now he’s been summoned to New Orleans on Samhain night and he can’t refuse. When he quickly gets cursed, he flees but is stopped in his tracks when he sees an injured man.

Maddox Calder is a half angel, half human and lives in the Celestial Realm. When he gets a mission to get something from witches that was stolen form angels, he gladly accepts. By before he could escape, he was hit by a curse that left him confused and dazed and caused him to run out to an oncoming car.

Killian couldn’t just leave Maddox there, so he saved him. They are brought together by an unconventional way, but they soon feel the connection between them that they can’t deny. They soon realise that they are stronger together, for them to survive, they need to stick together. I loved their chemistry and passion. They were made for each other.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a MM, paranormal romance then you’re going to love it.
